I did it!!!!  I'm really proud!  This was my very first attempt at doing this and it wasn't easy either.

So here it is, unfinished!  I'm so excited about it already that I had to take a photo and show off my progress.  I love to sew, I love babies, and I love interesting fabrics.  What happens when you combine them all?  Something like this is made!
I must say that it wasn't as easy as I thought it would be.  First of all, I had to take apart a seat cover and find some fabric that I really liked.  I searched and searched and finally just used some fabric I had earmarked for another project.  I love it!  Its girly and funky and kinda reminds me of my great grandmother's table cloth!  I used a quilted mattress pad on the underside so it is really fluffy and soft.  My machine is all ready to go, I'm about to finish this.

Here goes!  This is my very first blog here on blogspot.  I think (time permitting) I will blog often.  It gets very quiet here and I often do not have anyone to bounce my thoughts or idea off of so I will use this for that purpose!
